We are back and better than ever this week! How good have the Cincinnati Bengals been drafting the past 4 seasons? They have been a top 5 NFL team (if there were such a ranking) when it comes to drafting, a welcome sight from us Bengal fans!

In this week’s show:

We introduce Anthony Cosenza the newest Who-Dey Weekly contributor to the audience. Most of the readers of this space are already aware of Anthony and his fine work at CJ. He lived up to the billing in his debut on the podcast. Well done sir!

We welcome in fan favorite, Geoff Hobson, the editor of Bengals.com to the podcast. Geoff has been on the show numerous times and as always he brings his A game to the show.

After our “technical difficulties” Anthony and I broke down the Bengals draft and talked about some potential roster battles when camp opens in late July.

If you have questions about subscribing to the podcast or need assistance downloading the show, please email me at whodeyfans@spnt.tv, I’ll be more than happy to help. As always we want YOUR feed back so please get in touch!

The wait is over! The NFL Draft is finally here and this week on Who-Dey Weekly we break it down for you. We apologize this week for the phone issues, I can assure you that these WILL be resolved moving forward.

In this week’s show:

We introduce ourselves to the CJ community and let everyone know about the podcast.

CJ’s resident draft guru, Joe Goodberry, calls in to talk about his selections for the Bengals in his latest mock draft.

We discuss the 2013 NFL schedule and remind ourselves that none of the games are played on paper.

James Harrison signed with the Cincinnati Bengals last week, Mickey and I discuss his potential impact with the club.

The Who-Dey Weekly Podcast – Episode 96 – 2012 Season Wrap Up

January 16, 2013

2012 was a great year to be a Bengals fan! They made the playoffs in back to back years for the first time in 30 years. That’s amazing. The Bengals are an up and coming team STILL and they play in a division where the rest of the players are turning into grumpy old men. [...]

The Who-Dey Weekly Podcast – Episode 93 – Run the Ball

December 12, 2012

That one may come back to haunt the Bengals. Up 19-10 in the 4th quarter at home to a team riddled with injuries and emotionally spent. A team with one of the worst run defenses in the league yet the Bengals abandoned the run game. Dropped catches, dropped INT’s, missed tackles, ugh it was just [...]

The Who-Dey Weekly Podcast – Episode 92 – It Wasn’t Pretty But It’s a Win

December 5, 2012

Well it wasn’t pretty, but a win is a win and that’s all that matters at this time of year. The Bengals historically have not played well on the West Coast but to win in SD despite not having your best day on offense is a huge step for this team. Have to give it [...]

The Who-Dey Weekly Podcast – Episode 91 – The Grass Isn’t Always Greener

November 28, 2012

It only took one pass play for the tone to be set Sunday. Palmer’s first dropback, BOOM, Geno Atkins threw him to the ground. At that point we ALL knew what kind of day it was going to be for Mr. Quitter himself. Speaking of quitting, did you see that Palmer’s Raider teammate Rolando McClain [...]

November 14, 2012

The Bengals got a huge boost this weekend with a huge or shall we say, GIANT, win over the G-Men 31-13 Sunday at PBS. The tone was set early as Andy “Red” Dalton ended the game with an early strike to AJ Green to go up 7-0. Guess he had a pretty good idea about [...]

The Who-Dey Weekly Podcast – Episode 86 – Sometimes You Just Need to Vent

October 24, 2012

It’s been a rough few weeks in the Queen City. I know that as Bengals fans we have endured years, and years, and years, and years of heartbreak. We’ve all grown tired of the losing. One might think that by now our fanbase should be used to the losing. But strangely, even more this year, [...]

The Who-Dey Weekly Podcast – Episode 85 – It’s Steelers Week!

October 17, 2012

Call me crazy, but I’m not sure ANY Bengals fans envisioned two straight losses to the Miami Dolphins and the Cleveland freakin Browns. It wasn’t that they lost that bothers most, it’s how they were lost. No mental toughness, no swagger, no desire. It was evident on Sunday in the 3rd quarter who wanted to [...]

The Who-Dey Weekly Podcast – Episode 84 – What Was That???

October 10, 2012

Well who saw that coming? We sure didn’t. 13 points against the Dolphins is all the Bengals could muster up? Andy Dalton looked flat, the receivers looked flat, the running game looked, well, non-existent. Hopefully the Bengals get their act together and there’s no better medicine than playing the Cleveland Browns. Don’t forget to nominate [...]
