Scott breaks down the occasional hilarity that is the MLB arbitration process, using recent Dodgers signee Andre Ethier as an example. He then discusses the Marco Scutaro trade and the Red Sox subsequent signing of Cody Ross, as well as the Orioles’ peculiar hiring of Wilson Betemit to be their third baseman. He then briefly expresses excitement for the pending release (in six weeks) of MLB 12: The Show on the Playstation 3.

I’ll be interested in hearing Scott’s opinion on the Tigers putting perhaps two of the three or four best hitters in baseball in the three and four spots of their lineup. Or on the flip side, what the Tigers will do in 2013 when they have three guys who literally aren’t able to effectively play a position in the field.
