This week we devote our attention to those in Minor League Baseball who are just tearing it up at the level their currently playing, but just can’t seem to get that promotion to the next level, whether its Triple-A or even the big leagues. Don’t forget to send us your emails for next week’s Mailbag segment, email us at feedback@mlrpodcast.com or you can follow us on Twitter @mlrpodcast.

Here’s what you’ll get in this episode:

Jay, Eric and Mike discuss promotion in the Minors, why some guys are fast tracked through levels or why guys who are deserving aren’t moved up.

Terry Byrom, the legendary play-by-play voice of the Harrisburg Senators, drops by to give us an inside look at the Senators stud pitcher Danny Rosenbaum who is tearing up the Eastern League with a 5-0 record and a 0.71 ERA, yes that’s a ZERO before the decimal.

The Arizona Diamondbacks have a loaded Double A pitching staff down in Mobile and this week we were fortunate to catch up with the Baybears play-by-play voice Justin Shackil.

It really is a shame we didn’t get to see our very own Jay Burnham in this video.
