Scott basks in the glory of the Giants winning Super Bowl XLVI and is the last person to report that his old hometown team defeated the Patriots juggernaut. He then acknowledges that this news isn’t technically baseball. After some off-mic prodding from his producer, he discusses the signing of Edwin Jackson, the Rockies trading for Jeremy Guthrie, the unfortunate Josh Hamilton relapse, and then ten consecutive angry disjointed minutes in which he slams some elements of the sports media and the manufactured outrage market in general. It’s really quite fun.
